YTEN's mandate is to protect the earth and promote ecologically sound ways of life.
YTEN aims to support, enhance and enable the work of its member groups to protect, conserve, restore and promote a clean, healthy, and ecologically sustainable environment and it does this through alliance building, capacity building, effective government liaison, and public education.
